I live in a house with a long, narrow living room / dining room and kitchen, all of whom work in the other. Decorate my living room furniture is black, with white tables and black and white printed curtains and light, my dining table is very dark brown, black and purple is my counter in my kitchen (but get a new) and my cabinets are equipped with a tile in white backsplash .. I have 4 tables that are my inspiration. red, black lead, blue gray and gray. Put some color in dark rooms with more light. Do not paint the dark stairs. Then choose a color accent, color, green or red color and an area of your dark shadow color of the light and another part of the same color.
