Metzeler Motorcycle Tires Motorcycle Tire Size Question, On Used Sportbike?

Motorcycle Tire size question, on used sportbike? - metzeler motorcycle tires

"I have a 98 Honda CBR 600cc F3.
My rear tire has worn pretty bad, is the front tires are still looking good.
I did not decide, however, what to replace it.
FACTS

Existing pneumatic
: 120/70 Metzeler Sportec M-1
Rear: 180/55 ZR17 Metzeler MeZ4 Steel Radial

Recommended by the manual.
Front: 120/60 ZR17 (55W) [see Dunlop D204FK]
Rear: 160/60 ZR17 (69W) [see Dunlop D204k]

I noticed that the different size from what I have and what (in your owner's manual recommended I bought it with the old tires).
Now I can replace the tires must be replaced with exactly what I can not, that is again Metzeler 180/55 ZR17?
Or go with the manual recommends 160/60 ZR17?
You note, I only had money, you change the rear tire.

Can someone explain what these numbers mean?

when their sport-bike tires, and not any kind of smooth, more = better!

but remember that if you can not replace the front are out of reach, because u do not want a broad background with a narrow face.
